How Session Scheduling Works

Step 1: Book a session

  • Each session is one hour long.
  • Use the

  • We recommend booking your first session and paying for all the sessions you want upfront—for example, if you'd like to do three sessions, book the first one and pay for all three.
  • After payment, you can come back at any time to book the remaining sessions without needing to pay again (ignore any prompt to pay).

Regular Mock Interview

A regular mock interview is designed to closely replicate an actual interview scenario. It provides a realistic experience by mirroring:

This is highly recommended for those new to interviewing or partway through their preparation. It's a good way to ease into things—much like learning to swim in the deep end with a floater. A coached mock interview builds on the regular mock by adding real-time, on-the-spot feedback. In this format:

  • The interviewer plays a dual role by simulating the interview and acting as a coach simultaneously.
  • Immediate, constructive feedback is given the moment a mistake or suboptimal action/approach is detected.

Benefit: You can make immediate corrections during the interview, which accelerates your learning and builds confidence.

Diagnostic Mock Interview

The diagnostic mock interview is tailored to identify your strengths and pinpoint specific areas for improvement. It focuses on:

  • Identifying Gaps: Using targeted questions and customized mini-challenges to reveal weaknesses in technical knowledge and interview skills.
  • Providing insights into the key areas where you should focus your practice.

Adaptive Session Strategy

In some cases, a session may start as a regular mock interview. However, if you are noticeably struggling or making repeated errors, your interviewer may suggest switching to a coached mock interview.

You can reschedule your session with ease, and there's no charge for doing so. Our booking system separates session booking from payment, so you can secure your slot and modify the dates if necessary. We ask for a reasonable notice (ideally more than one hour) for rescheduling, but we're flexible.
